When was Simple Legal Consulting founded? With the name of Simple Legal Consulting, in the year 2021; but it is the continuity of a series of undertakings by Herman Duarte, who has more than 10 years of experience as a lawyer.

Do you have big clients? We reserve the identity of our clients, as they are people and companies that appreciate privacy. But we can mention ULACIT, the best private university in Costa Rica, as one of our main clients.

Does Simple Legal Consulting (SLC) have international certifications? Our firm is part of the Chambers and Partners directory. While our director, Herman Duarte, has strong academic credentials from world-class universities, serves as an advisor to the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, is a representative of Arbitrator Intelligence, and has served as an officer on the Human Rights Law committee of the International Bar Association. We highlight that he has also been decorated by world-renowned entities such as Outstanding-Financial Times, Chambers and Partners and Law and Business magazine.

What is your hourly rate? To avoid startles, we do not charge by the hour. Fixed prices. Always.

Does Simple Legal Consulting (SLC) respond quickly? 100% of our clients indicate that what they like the most is the immediate response they receive from us. We do not hide from our clients, we are always (literally) available.

How do you determine the price of a case? It depends on different factors such as the amount, complexity, the counterpart, the need to rely on other professionals. What we assure you that our budgets do not grow. They remain fixed.

Do you do pro-bono cases? Yes, we have been known for supporting humanitarian causes such as the human rights of vulnerable populations, LGBT + people, migrant rights and respect for the rule of law.

Is Simple Legal Consulting (SLC) just lawyers? Trained in law, but life experience broadened our knowledge, that is why in addition to the legal part, Consulting and Clarity services are offered.

In which countries does Simple Legal Consulting (SLC) work? Mainly in Costa Rica and El Salvador, but we have clients in Bolivia, France, California and other countries. So we are able to serve anywhere in the world. Don't worry, if we can't do something, we'll tell you.
